Having a website that works comes down to two questions:
How do we get more visitors?
How do we get our visitors to take action once they visit?
What’s continuous improvement about?
With this approach, your users come first. Priority goes to making changes that improve the user’s experience on your website.
Some problems an improvement process can fix:
- Users choose to call staff constantly instead of following processes outlined on your website.
- Your website is not attracting younger donors and members.
- Your calls to action such as: Join, Donate, Volunteer, Register, are being ignored.
- Google Analytics data shows that your bounce rate is extremely high, and you can’t pinpoint why.
- You don’t have any way to connect with visitors once they leave your website.

If your organization is like most non profits:

- You’re focused on daily activities that run your organization.
- Website management has been assigned to your marketing or communications professional.
- You don’t have the time to keep on track of the latest developments in SEO, user experience, analytics, or content management systems.
- You need processes and rules in place to maintain order on your website, but you don’t have the time or expertise to put these in place.
What’s the Continuous Improvement system?
It’s a series of in-depth sessions where we put in place customized strategies to improve your website’s reach with members, donors and stakeholders.
1. It’s all about data.
We’ll analyze data for your website, social media and email marketing, and help you determine if visitors/members/donors are taking action on your content. If not, we explore how you can increase your users’ level of action on your website.
2. It’s all about the traffic.
The more eyes on your website the better. We’ll determine how you can increase your traffic levels, across various platforms.
3. It’s all about taking action.
How can you increase your visitors’ engagement with your website and other digital content? We’ll explore various techniques and tools you can use to improve your website and ensure it’s helping your organization achieve its goals.
4. It’s about putting systems in place.
We’ll create processes to help you manage your website, and reduce chaos that occurs with a growing website.
