Communications strategy sessions
Being the lone communications professional for your non profit can sometimes be isolating and lonely. When you’re the only one, it can sometimes be lonely, and difficult to be sure you’re effective in your role. You may not be sure what skills you need to obtain, if you’re using the right tools and strategies, and even, if your practices match up to others in your sector.
A strategy session will help set you on the right track. We’ll meet to discuss issues that affect non profits with a small staff, especially in your communications department. The goal is to brainstorm, discuss systems, technology implementation, community building, content ideas, website development, and bringing up your ideas to the boss and leadership.
The goal is to get you unstuck, provide someone to bounce ideas with, give advice, get recommendations for improvement to your communications, and outline how to work effectively as a solo communications professional.
What you’ll get:
- Advice on your most pressing needs
- Someone to bounce off ideas on
- Expertise on communications issues that affect solo communications professionals
- Strategies for getting unstuck and planning for the future
- A written report outlining our discussion and recommended improvements, complete with action plan
- Follow up to any questions
How this works
Sessions are 60 minutes, and can be conducted via phone or web conferencing software. Your investment is $150 for the session. Sessions don’t have to be a one-time deal – you can have as many sessions as you need while you work out issues that affect your non profit.
